We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Global Mobility Manager to work in a truly global environment reporting to the head of reward, this role has responsibility for both the operational and strategic management of the group’s global mobility program. The post-holder will lead the global mobility policy development, process improvements and simplifications, and enhancement of data management and management reporting.  They will manage the relationship with global mobility vendors to ensure that service levels and standards are agreed and monitored. The role will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of the global mobility program.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsibility for both the operational and strategic management of the group’s global mobility program and management of service providers
  • Consult and advise on all technical and compliance aspects of global mobility including tax and immigration issues, liaising with relevant subject matter experts
  • Take ownership of and ensure compliance with in-house global mobility policy
  • Review global mobility processes and make recommendations on suggested improvements and simplifications
  • Main point of contact within the company for all global mobility and immigration matters for HR and employee queries
  • Support and coach HR colleagues on global mobility case management and execution of global mobility processes
  • Management of global mobility population and execution of global mobility program in conjunction with HR business partners and external vendors
  • Review of assignment documentation and own process for execution
  • Record keeping for global mobility population
  • Management of immigration issues arising in relation to global mobility population
  • Immigration compliance and monitoring thereof
  • Policy setting for international benefit provision to globally mobile employees
  • Management of international benefits including international medical insurance and international pension
  • Management of compliance with UK short term business visitors process – quarterly tracking and reporting of employees into the UK
  • Preparation of P11D / Benefit reporting for globally mobile employees

Skills and Experience

  • Substantial in-house global mobility experience, including robust knowledge of managing and delivering a global mobility program
  • Experience of managing external vendors and specialist advisors
  • Experience of proactively partnering and providing solutions to internal business customers
  • Experience of developing and utilizing metrics and dashboards
  • Proven superior communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels at the organization
  • Proven ability to challenge the status quo, find creative solutions, and think proactively to make changes to current processes and practices across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent team player with the capacity to share the department’s enthusiasm for the environment in which we operate
  • Bachelor’s degree preferable however qualified by experience with other relevant qualifications considered
