Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Quality Support Officer within the Liquid Products division, based in our Amsterdam office. The role will work closely with colleagues across Quality, Commercial, Operations and Logistics teams to support the maintenance and continuous improvement of quality, feed/food safety and compliance systems across our international trading and processing activities. This is a hands-on support role involving documentation control, data management, coordination and continuous improvement to ensure products meet regulatory, customer and internal quality requirements.

The role will work closely with colleagues across Quality, Commercial, Operations and Logistics teams to support the maintenance and continuous improvement of quality, feed/food safety and compliance systems across our international trading and processing activities. This is a hands-on support role involving documentation control, data management, coordination and continuous improvement to ensure products meet regulatory, customer and internal quality requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of quality and feed/food safety management systems within the Liquid Products division.
  • Assist with supplier approvals, product specifications, certifications, HACCP plans and customer quality documentation.
  • Coordinate quality-related data, records and reporting, including customer questionnaires, certificates of analysis, customer complaints and non-conformances.
  • Support internal and external audits, assessments and corrective action follow-up activities.
  • Assist in monitoring regulatory requirements and customer standards relevant to feed products.
  • Act as a point of contact for quality-related queries from internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support risk assessments, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide support on projects related to quality, compliance and operational improvement.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a quality, compliance, technical or support role within food, feed, liquids, chemicals or another regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, documentation management and working with data or certificates.
  • Exposure to feed or food safety standards such as GMP+ FSA, HACCP, ISO9001, FSSC22000 or IFS would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured and organised approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with fluency in Dutch and English.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Reliable, proactive and eager to learn and develop within the business.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders across an international environment.
  • Practical and quality-focused mindset with a high level of integrity.
  • Experience with liquid feed products, bulk commodities, audits or supplier documentation would be beneficial.
  • Exposure to international trading environments or regulatory compliance requirements is desirable.
