We have an exciting, newly created opportunity for someone to join our global IT team as a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer.  The position will be responsible for the operation and management of a wide range of core technologies across the global infrastructure. This will be a hands-on technical role with plenty of opportunities to explore new technologies in both test and live environments.

Key Accountabilities

The 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer would be working with technologies such as Windows Server 2016-2022, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and Remote Desktop Services. The candidate should also possess a strong understanding of network technologies such as TCP/IP, subnets, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and VPNs.

  • Responsible for the deployment, management, and ongoing support of infrastructure and systems across North, Central and South America.
  • Responsible for the deployment, management, and ongoing support of virtual server estate worldwide.
  • Management and maintenance of Active Directory and Entra (Including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP etc.).
  • Carry out ad-hoc and project-based implementation work.
  • Maintain the SCCM and Intune environment to ensure deployment of new desktop operating system releases, vendor patches, commercial software releases, and public domain software.
  • Escalate and work with 3rd party suppliers where necessary.
  • Incident management working closely with other members of the global support teams.
  • Assist with the creation of technical documentation.
  • Ability to gather information in unstructured and undocumented environments.
  • Monitoring of the infrastructure to proactively identify issues before they occur.
  • Provide support for backups and restores using Avamar and Veeam.
  • Serve as an escalation point for the service desk team to resolve support calls.
  • Advise and assist more junior colleagues.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate should be a driven individual, one that enjoys problem-solving and taking control of situations to drive technical solutions whilst putting our end users’ needs first with a fundamental understanding of networking, Microsoft products and virtualization.

  • Min 5 years’ experience in a 3rd line support or systems administration, maintenance, and infrastructure role either for a managed service provider or within in a sizeable organization.
  • Fluent business Spanish ESSENTIAL.
  • Solid experience and understanding of installation, configuration, and management of Windows Server 2008 R2 upward and Windows 10/11.
  • Proficient in all aspects of Active directory including Domains, Organizational Units, FSMO roles, DHCP and DNS.
  • Experienced with the creation, testing and assignment of Group Policy objects.
  • Working knowledge of VMware ESX, vSphere Platform.

Role Overview

An essential role in ensuring the group’s adherence to compliance requirements and industry legislation regarding sanctions. Works with the business to process requests for due diligence on all new counterparties, intermediaries, and service providers (including vessels).   • Conduct Due Diligence and Know Your Customer (KYC), including AML, checks for the onboarding of new counterparties, and refresh/ ongoing monitoring for pre-existing counterparties as part of the ED&F Man Group Sanctions & Due Diligence policy and procedures.

  • Conduct Due Diligence and Know Your Customer (KYC), including AML, checks for the onboarding of new counterparties, and refresh/ ongoing monitoring for pre-existing counterparties as part of the ED&F Man Group Sanctions & Due Diligence policy and procedures.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Group Treasury Accountant to prepare financial reports, through diligent adherence to comprehensive processes that provide absolute assurance and integrity of outputs. The role is accountable for the initial preparation and provision of information in Kyriba, including journals, accounting notes and associated audit-trail records for the Group’s Treasury entities. Presentation of these to the Group Treasury Operations Manager which are then sent for onward approval and submission to management, shareholders and lenders, as well as for statutory reporting, and internal and external auditors. The Group Treasury Accountant is core to the Group’s financial reporting through the accurate and on-time preparation of information for management and statutory reporting.

  • Accuracy and integrity of prepared accounts, through completion of “first line” reviews and validations.

Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Accountant – ACCA / ICAEW (ACA) / CIMA.
