Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Climate Manager. The role focuses on developing and implementing a global climate strategy, including carbon accounting, energy and water efficiency. The position scales regenerative services to drive sustainability impact and commercial growth. This person will work closely with global and origin teams, supporting regulatory compliance and integration into the wider sustainability strategy. This position can be located flexibly from any of our global offices, with a preference on LATAM, Amsterdam or Madrid.

Key Accountabilities

  • Leading the development, implementation, and execution of the global climate strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational sustainability objectives.
  • Designing and driving energy efficiency roadmaps, supported by robust cost–benefit analyses to optimise performance and investment decisions.
  • Developing and implementing water efficiency strategies, leveraging data-driven insights and financial analysis to maximise impact.
  • Overseeing comprehensive carbon accounting across scopes 1, 2 and 3, ensuring accuracy, transparency and alignment with global standards.
  • Establishing and optimising digital workflows for carbon data collection, management and reporting across all operations.
  • Conducting life cycle assessments across facilities to identify emissions hotspots and inform reduction strategies.
  • Designing, implementing, and scaling regenerative carbon service offerings to drive commercial growth and increased service uptake.
  • Defining and integrating baseline regenerative practices within core programmes to standardise and enhance sustainability outcomes.
  • Developing tailored, market-responsive service offerings that address evolving customer needs and sustainability demands.
  • Supporting the implementation of regulatory requirements, including the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), in collaboration with global and origin teams.
  • Ensuring climate, regenerative services and regulatory insights are effectively integrated into the broader sustainability strategy.
  • Embedding climate and sustainability activities within monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks to enable continuous improvement and impact tracking.

Skills and Experience

  • Degree educated in environmental science, sustainability, climate change, agronomy, economics or similar field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in climate strategy, carbon accounting or sustainability-focused roles.
  • Strong expertise in carbon accounting at scopes 1, 2 and 3 and life cycle assessment, aligned with recognised standards.
  • Experience designing and implementing energy and water efficiency programmes, supported by cost-benefit analysis.
  • Proven experience developing and scaling sustainability or climate-related service offerings.
  • Familiarity with regenerative agriculture and ability to translate technical concepts into scalable solutions.
  • Experience with sustainability regulations such as EUDR or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience managing and interpreting complex environmental datasets.
  • Experience developing digital tools or systems for sustainability data collection and reporting.
  • Sound business acumen, linking sustainability initiatives to commercial outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills in international environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, translating complex topics into actionable insights.
