Wij hebben een mooie kans voor iemand om bij ons aan de slag te gaan als Financieel Administrateur in een werkelijk internationale werkomgeving. In deze functie rapporteer je aan één van de Financial Controllers binnen ons team in Amsterdam. Je maakt deel uit van een team dat verantwoordelijk is voor het uitvoeren van algemene boekhoudkundige en financiële werkzaamheden, in overeenstemming met geldende boekhoudkundige principes en de rapportagevereisten van de groep.

The role will work as part of a team responsible for performing general book-keeping and financial accounting tasks in accordance with financial accounting principles and group reporting requirements.

De Liquid Products Division van ED&F Man is wereldwijd marktleider in melasse, melassemengsels en aanverwante producten, evenals bietenpulp, lijnzaad en andere producten voor (voornamelijk) de diervoederindustrie. Wij zijn zowel pionier als handelaar in vloeibare agrarische bij- en co‑producten.
Wij bieden expertise op het gebied van diervoeding en voederdoseertechnologie aan boeren. Daarnaast werken wij nauw samen met producenten, zoals rum- en gistfabrikanten, om kwaliteitsproducten uit duurzame bronnen te leveren. Onze activiteiten omvatten de inkoop, verzending, opslag en distributie van melasse, melassemengsels en andere suikerbijproducten, evenals plantaardige oliën en visoliën.
Wij maken onderdeel uit van ED&F Man Commodities, een toonaangevende wereldwijde handelaar in agrarische producten, waaronder koffie, katoen, suiker, melasse en diervoeders.
ED&F Man Liquid Products Division is the leading global supplier in molasses, molasses blends and related liquid products as well as dry products for (mainly) the animal feed industry. We are a pioneer as well as a trader in liquid agricultural by-and- co-products. We offer expertise in animal nutrition and feed dispense technology to farmers. We work closely with manufacturers, such as rum and yeast producers, to provide quality products from sustainable sources. Our capability includes sourcing, shipping, storage and distribution of molasses, molasses blends and other sugar co-products, as well as vegetable and fish oils.
We are part of ED&F Man Commodities, a world leading trader of agricultural products including coffee, sugar, molasses and animal feed.
Key Accountabilities
- Verzorgen van de dagelijkse financiële administratie en voorbereiding van de maandafsluiting.
- Opstellen van maandelijkse financiële resultaten en kwantitatieve managementinformatie.
- Uitvoeren van credit control en debiteurenbeheer.
- Beheer van debiteuren- en crediteurenadministratie (AR/AP).
- Beheer van online bankieren, inclusief online betalingen en overboekingen.
- Opstellen van maandelijkse rekening- en grootboekreconciliaties.
- Opstellen en indienen van periodieke btw‑aangiften.
- Opstellen van financiële en administratieve rapportages.
- Beheer en rapportage van creditcards (ervaring met SRXP en/of Concur is een pré).
- Maintain the day-to-day accounts and preparation for month end close.
- Prepare monthly financial performances and quantitative management information.
- Perform credit control and debt collection.
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable (AR/AP).
- Manage online banking including online payments and transfers.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Prepare periodic VAT tax returns.
- Prepare corporate accounting statements.
- Credit card control and reporting (experience with SRXP, Concur is helpful).
Skills and Experience
- Minimaal een afgeronde mbo‑opleiding in accountancy of finance
- Minimaal 4 jaar relevante werkervaring in een vergelijkbare functie
- Aantoonbare kennis van boekhoudkundige principes
- Specifieke kennis van financiële software en financiële rapportagesystemen
- Sterke prestatiegerichtheid; stelt hoge eisen aan zichzelf, is resultaatgericht en kan goed presteren onder druk
- Vloeiend in Nederlands en een goede beheersing van zakelijk Engels
- Gedreven, veerkrachtig en gemotiveerd om deel uit te maken van ED&F Man
- Een hoog niveau van integriteit, flexibiliteit, stressbestendigheid en zelfreflectie
- Vocational education degree (minimum) in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in a similar environment
- Proven understanding of accounting principles
- Specific knowledge of finance software and financial reporting systems
- A strong focus on performance; sets high standards, results orientated and able to maintain performance under pressure
- Fluent/native Dutch speaker and fluency in business English
- Determined, resilient and eager to join the ED&F Man business
- High level of integrity, flexibility, ability to work under pressure and self-reflection are key attributes to perform this role
