Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a payments and operations expert to join us as a Treasury Operations Manager to work in a truly global environment to assure that all daily operations run smoothly in the treasury team. The team works with the treasury management system Kyriba, also FX trading and settlement platform (FXall), an in-house developed treasury payment system (TPS) and online banking platforms from ING. The role provides long term development potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in the fast-paced soft commodities environment.

Key Accountabilities
- Daily cash reconciliation in Kyriba.
- Daily approval of payments (2 payment rounds per day) – on behalf of group entities.
- Manage daily funding of the different currencies bank account.
- Daily cash and monthly interest statements to all entities across the globe.
- Daily FX and interest rates upload.
- Manage timely payment of external debt.
- Oversee the Group Treasury mailbox;
- Payment investigation, provide SWIFT confirmations to business units.
- Execute FX spot and forward trades upon business units instructions.
- Allocation of receipts to the different business units.
- Agree daily nettings with banking counterparties.
- Update FX (Microsoft Access) and payment mandates (Treasury Payment System).
- Bank account management for 2 group entities and online banking platform (ING).
- Monthly interest capitalization and accruals in Kyriba – including withholding tax.
- Liaise with finance on entries in Kyriba.
- Monthly global cash analyses and reconciliation.
- Coordinate annual KYC refresh related to the ING bank accounts.
- Correct filing of confirmations and update processes.
- FX confirmations and matching in FXall.
- MT940 connectivity and interface of the different systems used by Treasury.
Skills and Experience
- Substantial experience in middle or back-office operations area within a bank or an in-house treasury department.
- Proven experience of working efficiently and accurately with high value payments (~$20m ~ $50m/week).
- Experience working in an international environment with a variety of currencies.
- Kyriba knowledge preferred.
- Understanding of accounting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated and driven; takes initiative to improve ways of working, governance, and assurance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An inquisitive individual with strong problem-solving ability.
- A strong customer service ethic.
