Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Compliance Project Manager for 12 month fixed term contract to work in a truly global environment to ensure the on-time delivery of an enhanced compliance function to meet multiple internal and external deadlines and pressures. The post-holder will work with the business and corporate support functions to improve existing processes and controls, create training and communications, and support organisational design.

Key Accountabilities

  • Developing project scope and objective communication documents.
  • Developing and maintaining a living project plan and holding project team members to account for their deliverables.
  • Creating and maintaining a stakeholder management plan.
  • Creating communication documents, branding and poster campaigns to increase visibility of compliance.
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
  • Creating progress and performance report presentations for the steering committee.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project budget and cost reporting.
  • Facilitating meeting attendance and ensuring complete record keeping.

Skills and Experience

This role demands exceptional organisational skills, good stakeholder management and experience of complex, time pressured projects.

  • Proven and substantial experience in project and program management roles, combined with an ability to manage multiple workstreams to a tight timeline.
  • Experience in a commodities or physical trading environment would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient at managing time and resources.
  • Detail-oriented; ability to draw up detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of managing crises as and when they arise.
  • Experience of working with compliance functional build projects – desirable.
  • Prior experience with process documentation and process automation – desirable.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions and a proficiency in strategic analysis.
