Our MAS programme nominated for two World Sustainability Awards

ED&F Man Liquid Products (MLP) has been named a finalist for the World Sustainability Awards 2021 in two categories: Sustainable Supply Chain and External Partnership. The Awards celebrating corporate and social sustainability excellence on a global platform. MLP joins an impressive list of best-in-class businesses. The nominations recognise MLP’s commitment through its MAS Program to support community needs in the origins where MLP sources molasses. Here MLP works closely with suppliers, some of which are on the MAS advisory board, to identify ‘impact projects’ to help those communities and oversee the successful implementation of the projects.  MLP has already committed $280k to support projects in El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Dominican Republic.

MLP’s customers are also an important component of MAS as these projects are funded by MLP contributing a portion of our proceeds from sales of sustainably sourced molasses.​​​​​​​
